By booking sessions with Athena Pilates (also referred to as “the Instructor”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.2. Payment for sessions must be made in full at the time of booking to secure your slot.
1.3 Bookings apply to the Client personally: and cannot be lent, assigned or transferred to another person at any time.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1. Missed sessions are not transferable or refundable nor can be carried over to the next block.
2.2 If a session is missed, with more the 24 hours’ notice, the client is entitled to a class recording or can join an online class.
2.3 If you have booked a block of classes and know in advance you cannot make a session, please let Athena Pilates know, if there is space on another class that week, it is sometimes possible to join the other class, however this is on a case-by-case basis and credit is not issued for missed classes.
3. Rescheduling
3.1 Class block bookings are paid for per block, if you are unable to attend a class, it is not refundable or transferable, nor can it be carried over to the next block.
3.2 If the instructor has to cancel a class, either an alternative date or a refund will be offered.
4. Parking
4.1. There is plenty of parking available but Clients are required to park directly in front of the garden pink wall, to the right of the property on approach. Please do not block access to the drive as it is in constant use.
5. Health and Safety
5.1. Clients must inform Athena Pilates of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect their participation in the session and have completed the health questionnaire before their first session.
5.2. Clients participate in sessions at their own risk, and Athena Pilates shall not be liable for any injuries sustained during the session.
5.3 Clients must inform Athena Pilates if any health conditions change after completing the health questionnaire.
6. Conduct
6.1. Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards the Instructor and other participants during the session.
6.2. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in the termination of the session without refund.
7. Liability
7.1. Athena Pilates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the client’s participation in the session, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 For the purposes of this agreement, a Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of Athena Pilates including but not limited to strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving Athena Pilates or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
8.2 Athena Pilates shall not be liable, for any delays or failure to perform its obligations under this agreement as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
9.1. Athena Pilates reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via email or through the booking platform.
By booking a session with Athena Pilates, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms of service.
